The new Mercedes AMG GTS to arrive next year

Next year officially brings in the arrival of the brand new AMG GTS model from German manufacturer Mercedes and we are pleased to reveal that development on the vehicle has begun and the car is all set to be launched in April of 2015. The brand have confirmed some brand new details regarding the specifications and features to come along with the vehicle and you can expect the same luxurious and high powered attributes from the car that we have come to know and love from the brand in the past. The vehicle is set to be one of the sportiest vehicles that the mass manufacturer have on offer and a lot of focus for the AMG GTS has been set on the interior and the power to come along with the car.

How is the Mercedes AMG GTS shaping up so far?

The images of the car that were first revealed show the vehicle in a Black Paint scheme and it shares a similar rear design in our opinion to that of the Porsche 911. The front end of the car adapts a sloping bonnet and roof line which have all been included in hopes of developing more dynamic and agile performance rates for the car. Regarding that big powerful engine that has found its place in the vehicle for next year, we see that the firm have included the standard fitting of a four litre,V8 Twin turbo engine unit. If we take this into consideration along side the addition of a seven speed, dual clutch transmission system, we see a brake horse power development come from the car putting out at 503bhp. We see that thanks to the power development, the car will make the sprint from a standing start to speeds of 62 miles per hour in just 3.8 seconds which then progresses on to reach overall top speeds of 193 miles per hour.

The interior of the Mercedes AMG GTS has also been heavily focused on as we see that during the development stage of the car, a Brown leather interior has been included and a built in sat nav system can also be found inside the vehicle. A flat bottomed leather steering wheel and a chrome trimmed centre console is also included.

How much will the Mercedes AMG GTS go on sale for next April?

It has been confirmed that the brand new AMG GTS will go on sale here in Britain and across other markets world wide from the April of 2015 and its expected that a purchase price of around the £110,000 area will come along with it.
