Four wheel drive F Type to join the Jaguar range next year

It has been rumoured and speculated for quite some time now but some brand new images of a four wheel drive Jaguar F Type model have been captured which has revealed that the car is a go and it is believed that the vehicle will arrive on our roads from next year. Both Coupe and Roadster versions of the F Type are set to be affected by this change as images reveal and some brand new changes can also be seen made to the car which could help give it that added boost when it comes to sales figures around the world and continuing to bring the fight to other top flight brands on the market right now such as Mercedes amongst many more. It was just last year that the F Type first made its presence felt on the road and has delivered a unique and agile driving experience for many owners all around the world. The vehicle has become one of the most recognised models on the road over the course of the past year and was helped to be launched by campaigns featuring the likes of David Beckham. Jaguar never do anything half hearted and this was demonstrated earlier this year by the reveal of the new XE in London. With so much hype and anticipation circulating around the XE, what have the British iconic car brand done to ensure a successful launch for the new F Type too?.

How much of an impact will the new F Type make when it arrives?

Well it has been reported that the car will feature both all wheel and four wheel drive which are the obvious big changes to come along with the new F Type. A Type R and S variant selection will also become made available. Regarding some of the changes that are made to the car visible from the naked eye, we see that brand new creasing and bumps into the bonnet have been introduced in order to help the vehicle out when it comes to a much more dynamic driving performance and agility. Regarding the specifications of the R model, we expect to see a supercharged V8 engine come along with the vehicle which would therefore see an overall power deliverance of around the 485 brake horse power area. The front of the vehicle also looks to be raised too. A 542bhp unit is expected to be included with the R Coupe model too. The S Coupe and R Roadster is also expected to see a power deliverance of around the 374 brake horse power region.

Many manufacturers are introducing brand new redesigned versions of their big selling cars on the market right now with hopes of maintaining some steady success for their ranges but can the F Type do that for the Jaguar brand much in the same way Audi has with their 2014 TT range?.

When can we expect to see the four wheel drive F Type on the road?

It is highly expected that this brand new addition to Jaguars F Type line up will launch at some point next year. At this moment in time however no price tag to come along with the car has been announced but expect to hear more on this closer to the official time of launch.
