Porsche 911 Targa all set for an unveilement

Over the years, top car brand based in Germany Porsche have become one of the automotive trades best, finely tuned weapons, and without a doubt have become one of the top players in the industry when it comes down to four wheeled vehicles. The brands design in power hungry, sports based vehicles is quite extravagant and stands toe to toe with rivals, such as, Lamborghini and Italian owned Ferrari. But for many years now, rumor has circulated around the world regarding, their hugely popular 911 range perhaps getting a facelift in the form of the classic Targa look from way back in 1966. No longer is this just rumor, but it has been officially confirmed to be fact.

So what's going to be so special with this 911 model compared to others ?

Throughout the companies history, we think it is safe to say that the 911 model from Porsche is definitely one of the models, that the German manufacturer are so massively known and respected for, and has definitely made the brand a top contender when it comes to sports machines around the world, but we know what you are thinking, what makes this version of the car so special compared to that of those that have come before. Well to begin with, the main focus point on this particular machine as we previously stated is, the 66 Targa old fashioned design of the model which looks very retro and matches the car well. Secondly two different engine's are likely to be on offer for the consumer at the time of purchase, these will most likely come in the form of a 3.4 litre,H6 engine that would be set to carry around 350 units of brake horse power, and then of course there is the s model which rumor circulating will carry a 3.8, H6 engine capable of carrying around 400 units of brake horse power. In terms of the body and design shape of the car, we think that it looks very similar to that of the likes of the Carerra and Boxter models that have made the brand a big seller. The car looks very sleek and performance worthy, and judging by the shape and design aspect, the car looks as if it's built for agility and dynamics. In terms of other specs for these particular models, not a lot more is currently known right now, but expect a lot more information at next months Detroit motor show.

So when is the new 911 set for an unveiling and at what price tag ?

We are happy to report that it has been officially confirmed that the brand's new Targa like model will officially be revealed to the public and media alike at next months Detroit motor show, which is where we expect a lot more information to be available on the car. In terms of the pricing structure for the latest in 911 technology, expect to pay a starting price of around £55,000 here in the UK.
