Seat set to reveal the Leon Cupra ST model

In a follow up news story today from our previous report on the Spanish brand Seat's Ibiza model, we have officially heard word circulating around online regarding a reveal of the brand new Leon Cupra model that is being rumored to have a release date of sometime throughout next year. The model has been spotted by spies, with images circulating online of the model, which looks like it is just about ready to go, and should be ready to hit dealership's sometime soon. The model itself is set to launch alongside the five and three door style hatchbacks of the same variety in model, and it has also been stated that this addition from the Spanish brand, is set to be a top rival for that of the likes of the American owned brands, Ford Focus ST estate.

What has been placed into the vehicle during production of the Leon Cupra ?

In terms of the specs and design of the model itself not a massive amount can be clearly seen or spotted due to the camo flauge coating that the brand have placed over their latest vehicle, but a few bits and pieces have been revealed regarding what has been put into the car during the manufacturing process and the features readily available upon purchase. Some of these unique and family friendly machinery items pre fitted included the likes of, large alloy wheels, red brake calipers, twin exhausts and a brand new revised front bumper. The engine of this machine comes in the form of 2.0 litre, turbo charged engine that carries 268 units of brake horse power. A six speed manual transmission system all comes as part of the package, or consumers do have the option of a six speed DSG gearbox instead. This front wheel drive model comes with a more advanced suspension system, with a lower height in seating range for the driver. It is also worth noting that a more powerful, four wheel drive model of the car is set to launch alongside the basic package and will carry around 298 units of bhp.

When can you expect to see the Leon hit dealership's ?

Upon hearing all of the good news circulating regarding the Leon, we were hoping for some more good news in terms of it's release and pricing as well, and that's exactly what we got. We are happy to report that the word circulating is that the model could be set to debut mid way throughout next year, with a public unveiling possibly set for the Geneva motor show next year. In terms of the pricing structure on the new Seat Leon, expect to pay somewhere around the £25,000 area for the car, with extra on top for optional features.
