The New 2014 Mini Cooper

The New 2014 Mini Cooper

The New Mini Cooper has been given an official release date of 18th November 2014. The date will be somewhat fitting as it will be exactly 107 years to the day that the designer of the original mini was born.

The official reveal of the Mini Cooper will take place at the Mini factory in Oxford where the first model was born. A number of days later the Mini model will make its public début at the Los Angeles Motor Show and the Tokyo Motor Show.

The Mini range has continued to grow as have the size of certain models in the range. The Mini Cooper model has been compared to the development stages of the mobile phone. The mobile phone was once as small as they could get and at the time that was popular and now like the new Mini Cooper, the most popular of phones seem to be the biggest that have ever been produced.

The new Mini Clubman seems to be the largest Mini to have ever been produced and the Mini Cooper 2014 edition is set to follow the trend. A number of styling features are set to appear on the Mini model once again. Such features as the blacked out pillars and stripes across the bonnet can once again be seen.

The New Mini Vision model is set to be the next template for all models in the future as the main styles and features will once again be copied across the range. The new front grille will be larger and will be similar to that on the Mini Cooper S model. The Mini Cooper Paceman on the other hand is set to have a smaller grille to emphasise the more sporty look and feel of the model.

The new Mini Cooper model will be the first of the range to use the new modular front wheel drive architecture built by BMW. What we can be sure of is, that the new Mini models will not be small.
