Mercedes and Spencer Hart team up

Mercedes and Luxury menswear brand Spencer Hart have collaborated on a special edition CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake. The collaboration was announced at the Men fashion event London Collections this week. Both firms showed off the CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake, which was styled by the creative director of Spencer Hart, Nick Hart.

The model is intended as a showcase for the AMG performance Studio of Mercedes and it's bespoke optioning service. The CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake by Spencer Hart will be available to order for customers.

Features of this unique model include a colour that is called Nick Hart Midnight Blue, the signature colour of Spencer Hart, whilst the exterior features of the model which are usually chrome are now in a more understated and darker finish.

On the interior, the CLS model features Italian leather Chocolate Brown on the seats, which has blue stitching to contrast, this look was apparently inspired by the Spencer Hart London's Brook Street Flagship store, in particular, the walnut pannelled personal shopping area of the shop, which is called "The Vault".

Nick Hart, talking about the recent collaboration said, it definitely seemed a natural fit to work on a project such as this one with Mercedes Benz. He expressed that he has always been an enthusiastic fan of the brand and has wanted to create something that was uniquely Spencer Hart as well as being extremely cool as opposed to being commercial. He expressed that this desire has resulted in something that both his company and Mercedes Benz can be proud of.

This is not the first time Mercedes has collaborated with design firms, including the Smart ForJeremy, though the link up with Spencer Hart is the first time the brand has partnered up with a British Design brand.
