The new bikes of the Moto GP 2015

It is nearly that time of the year again as we are vastly approaching the launch of the brand new Moto GP World Championship season. We are now just over two weeks away from the very first race which will be held on the 29th of March from Qatar and as usual, coming with a new season is the companies new range of motorcycles to hit the tracks. Our post today has all of the latest on the new machines that will be used for this years season and we begin with a look at the new Yamaha bike to hit the track.

Yamaha
have revealed their brand new YZR-M1 models that will take to the track this year ridden by Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi. The new bikes carry over the traditional Blue and White paintwork as you would come to expect from the team. The bikes still keep onto the sponsorship of 'Monster Energy'. Equipped with smooth slick tyres and front golden forks, the M1 models are set to look just as great as they will run. Riding on Brembo brakes, an Ohlins suspension setup and Bridgestone tyres, Yamaha will be hoping that the latest and greatest in new motorcycle technology will be able to help them achieve more success this time around. An aluminium chassis is once again used on both models to help boost performance. The majority of the bike mainly the top half is decorated in Blue with White inserts across the width of the bottom half of the fairing of both racing machines. Will the bikes perform just as good as they look though?.

Brand new LCR Honda bikes revealed

Honda have many different models represented in the season this time with the classic Repsol Fireblade models rode by world champion Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa. Another Honda machine that will grace the track with its presence though is the new LCR model. This bike will carry racer Cal Crutchlow as he makes the move to Honda for this season. The new bike he will be riding was shown off just over two months ago at a press event in a club in London. Decorated in a full White paint scheme it carries the 'CWM' logo in Black across the fairing with the Green 'Castrol' design spread across the very bottom of the bike. Both Gold front forks and wheel trims contribute to the paintwork. A basic Black seat also matches well with the White design. After not performing so well in pre season testing though, will the new bikes be enough to carry the team to victory in the first race of the season?.

The return of Aprilia and Suzuki

This years championship will make for the return of both Aprilia and Suzuki to active competition. Both of which companies have both shown off their new models. We will start here with the latest first. Aprilia revealed their new model just this week which shown a Silver design with red inserts carrying around the fairing of the bike. The Red inserts continue around the back end of the bike and also feature on the striping of the tyres. Much like its competition, the new 2015 bike features a set of Golden front forks and slick Bridgestone tyres. It has been said by the team that with this new model, both the general handling and traction control of the bike has been vastly improved.

Last up on the agenda is the return of Suzuki to the championship after four years away. The last time Suzuki won the world championship however was in the year 2000 when their bike was raced by Kenny Roberts Junior. The team will be looking for a return to success this year with their new machines ridden by Aleix Espargaro and Moto 3 world champion Maverick Vinales. These machines may be the best looking bikes of the season with all metallic Blue paintwork similar to the Yamaha models. Lime Green trimming can be found around the top of the fairing and the screen. One of the best features though is the Suzuki logo in White widespread across the fairing. Again much like its competition, Golden front forks take their place of pride.

We cannot wait for this years season to begin but who do you think will come out on top at the end of the championship?. Let us know what your thoughts are on the new season.
